Portraiture: Donna in the light

I’m back. I’ll be moving this site to another hosting provider over the next few days, but I’m back to posting regularly, again. I might post about my travails with my site host, Bluehost, but if I do, I’ll do that, later in the week.

I’m taking a class on studio portraiture at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. I’m learning a lot, it’s a good-sized class–around 12 students–so there can be a lot of sitting around. That doesn’t stop me from taking photos, though.

I took this one while they were setting up. I love that backlighted look. : )
