Fruit: Bad apple

I’m trying to move my work in a more intriguing direction. This photo feels a little violent plus begs the viewer to fill in a story. This kind of mise-en-scene makes a photo more visually interesting, at least for me, than taking a really great photo of an apple on a cutting board.
