Secure: Catenary chain

I seem to have a think for locks and chains and fences and anything that bars people from something. The curious thing about most, not all, but most of these security things is they look attractive. They’re often shiny and eye-catching. Maybe it’s just the type of materials, I don’t know, but they can be beautiful to photograph.

On the other hand, though, they are everywhere. I think that’s a symptom of the society, not just “necessity”, so there’s a greater reason to photograph this stuff beyond it’s shininess.
