Colors: Dark blue leaf
I totally Lightroomed this. It’s not a blue leaf, it’s green. But I used highlighting and some other adjustments to emphasize the raindrops.
I like this filter for an application like this. No, the colors aren’t “realistic”, whatever that means, but it creates something different, something more interesting, I hope.
I’m not going to make crazy colors changes all the time. Mostly, I’ll stick to the realm of “realism”, but I don’t see anything wrong with venturing outside that realm as long as I’m producing something interesting.
When you think about it, this is no different than using a black and white filter. Why is black and white more acceptable? Because we’re used to seeing it.
Sorry about a slightly disjointed post. I might explore this a bit more, later.
