B&W: Bursting dandelion

I’m pretty happy with how this image turned out. It’s one of the best macros I’ve done, in my opinion.

The black and white brings out the corona of the dandelion which was harder to see in the color version. When I’m focusing on emphasizing shapes, outlines, etc., I almost always go to black and white.

Also, aren’t dandelions on the macro photographer’s bucket list? I better check that one off. : )
