B&W: Considering

Black and white can make for some very strong portraits. In fact, I think a black and white photo brings out the expressions of a person, allowing the viewer to focus on the more expressive elements of a portrait.

In this case, I wanted to emphasize the eye and the lines around it. The subject looks very pensive, maybe considering something that’s been said or something she’s thinking about.

In my opinion, eliminating color from the photo helps the viewer focus on the expression of the person in the photo.
