For me, black and white brings the focus of a photo more to shapes and lighting by eliminating the “distractions” of color.
However, when you take a photo in black and white, you’re losing something, too. Losing color, in particular, makes things harder to identify, making them more mysterious.
sThat’s why today’s photo intentionally references the colors missing from the photo.
