Odds and ends: Sky reflection

A cool reflection photo, today.

One thing you can see in this photo is that I like to use the frame. You’ll see the lines stretch from the corners. For me, this anchors the photo, for lack of a better word.

It’s not always necessary, and you should certainly use your own creative eye, but I like to have my lines move to the corners of my photos. Geometrically speaking–and I’m very much about geometry in my photography–this makes sense, it makes better visual sense to have my lines in this photo moving to or from the corners of the photo’s frame.

It’s a cool reflection, too. : )
