Odds and ends: Hirt

One reason I didn’t post this photo, earlier, is because my lines are off. The verticals are good, but the horizontals aren’t so good.

What do I mean by that?

The lines in the photos, like the lines in the bricks, would be more visually pleasing if they paralleled the lines in the frame of the photo. To me, this is very much an image about lines and how those lines are broken up my the more biomorphic shadows falling across those lines.

Still, it’s a photo with merit, and it’s not a good thing to bury an image just because it’s not “perfect”.
