Getting close: Rope

Sometimes the most mundane thing can look so cool.

This is a rope on a playground climber. Up close you can see the spirals and tautness of the line. To me, the rope feels tense, full of energy, but strong: It’s not going to break.

This is emphasized by the way the rope stretches across the frame, and it’s echoed by the other ropes in the background.

But that’s just me. : )
