On a clear day

Some say beauty is all around us. I don’t know about that, but art is all around us. And sometimes that art is in the most mundane things.

This is nothing more than just shadows on window blinds. A perfectly blah sight we see every day. I’ve framed it and added so contrast and made it black and white. Minor changes, but ones that present the mundane in a different light (Sorry. No pun intended.).

Now, I have a minimalist photo that very much reminds me of the work of Agnes Martin. The title references a series of prints she did in the 1970s.

I think this is one of my favorite works since I started this blog.
