Vegas: Chihuly Ceiling

More Vegas, this week. I just got a ton of photos I liked there. Vegas might be a skeezy place, but it’s a goldmine (Pardon the pun.) for photographers.

This is a photo of a part of the Dale Chihuly glass (Is that redundant?) ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. It’s hard to get a photo of the entire ceiling, but people do try.

I’m not usually interested in the entirety of anything I shoot and this ceiling is so large it’s pointless to try to take a photo of the whole thing. This doesn’t stop people from trying, though.

I didn’t try. I just shot pieces of it. Inside all those pieces were the parts that interested me. So here’s one of those pieces, one very colorful piece of the ceiling.
