Portrait orientation: Perfume bottle

I’m still in an experimental phase with a lot of my photography. Maybe that will always be the case, I don’t know. I do like tinkering and playing around to see what effects I get. Perfume bottle is a great example of this.

I haven’t used my pop-up flash for much of anything. Actually, I have it turned off. In this case, I decided to see what I would get if I used it. The result is a hard shadow that compliments the patterns of the bottle.

A little tinkering paid off and I got really nice photo.
