Closeup: Above the floral fray
I like shooting macros and, honestly, I mostly use the preset macro setting on my Olympus OMD III for this. It’s one of the really nice things about the OMD III: The pre-programmed settings allow you to use the camera as a pro would, but without a long learning curve. I’m taking photos with it and experimenting with manual and shutter speed and aperture priority, but I still like the pre-programmed macro settings.
This photo was a little tricky, but the focus point is behind the foreground petals. I love the colors and there’s even nice slope moving from right to left. Yeps, I love colors and shapes. What can I say?
