Closeup: Bellagio lion

A closeup of one of the two lion statues that greet you outside the entrance to the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I thought the swirling patterns were incredible.

I have a color version of this, too, that I might put in the gallery when I get that going, someday, but I think the black and white works best. I usually prefer black and white to emphasize patterns. Color would take away from the swirls are other patterns, in my opinion.
