More Vegas: Bird fight

Birds can be very bold in resort areas–there’s just so much food around. So if you have a phone or other camera handy, you tend to take photos of them flying in and landing on your table. At least I did. And then I get back to the home and, surprise, I find the images really boring.

There are plenty of photographers who take great bird photos, but I don’t seem to be one of them. But I do like seeing if I can take what to me is a boring image and turning it into something more interesting. And that’s how I got this image of birds bickering over food near the cafe’s trash. They were disagreeing over a bagel, I think, though there was almost an entire bagel, there, enough to feed probable every bird within a hundred meters.

This was originally a color image, but I think it’s looks much more interest as almost a two tone black and white image, almost like a line drawing.
