Fall: Curving, yellow, wet leaf
Sorry for missing the Wednesday post. I scheduled two posts for while I was away and thought I could make one more remotely, but I got caught up in vacation and also discovered the iPad is a poor substitute for a laptop–I took my iPad but not my laptop.
This is a photo I took after a rain, which we’ve been getting a lot of in DC. There are several elements that attracted me to it: the vanishing point–love them; the curve of the leaf–I like geometry; the yellow color–a striking contrast against everything else in the photo; and the shining wetness.
Not sure if it’s a photo that everyone will like, maybe the dampness is too much, but I like it. Hope you do, too.
