Nature: Tangential berries
One thing I’ve discovered about my photography is I’m very drawn to shapes and patterns and colors. Todays, photo is a great example of that. It’s has some nice reds and greens to entertain the eye–Yes, I stressed these a little in Lightroom–plus I’ve emphasized the curve of the berries’ branch. That branch has a beautiful arc. I reoriented the image slightly so the branch just touches (i.e. tangentially) the bottom edge of the frame. Though you can’t actually see it, in your mind’s eye the branch also would seem to originate in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
I love stuff like this. : ) Hope you do, too.
