Transitions: The way out of the woods

I guess a lot of my transition shots are characterized by light. Usually the light is in the distance, representing a goal for the viewer. “What’s that shiny spot in the distance?” you might think.

In this one, the viewer appears to be standing in darkness, but the path is lighted. If you can make it through the trees, you might reach the light beyond.

That’s one interpretation, anyway. : )
