Raindrops on car hood
I guess I like close ups. The lens that came with my Olympus OMD Mark III is a 14-42mm lens and it seems well-suited for taking closeups. I really seem to be drawn to those types of images. Maybe it’s because getting up close on something lets you see things in a totally different way, a way you don’t normally see with your eye, and isn’t that a bit part of what art is about? Looking at things, our world, differently.
This is a zoomed in view of a highly-waxed, car hood after a rain. I love the way the rain beaded up on the hood, so I took a few photos. One fun thing is the car is black: the green you see is the reflection of tree branches overhead. There’s even a scratch on the hood. See if you can find that.
