Time candle: A stark black and white

I’ve mentioned this, before, I think: There’s always something you can take a photo of. In this case, I have a lot of junk in my house, just stuff I think is interesting, like the gears on the toy I posted a week or so ago.

This time it’s a photo of a candle I bought in Rome, years ago. It came with the holder with the interesting curve and the stark roman numerals on imprinted on the candle. It supposedly burns at a specific rate, each number representing an hour. I just loved how strong the image looks in black and white.
