An out of context photo
The way you compose a photo can change the sense of the moment. Even if you’re just taking a snapshot of your friends, you’re not truly capturing what your eyes see; you’re capturing what the camera sees.
In this case, I wanted to give the viewer a different feeling apart from what was happening at the moment. The subject preferred sitting on the floor, not for any dramatic reason, but simply because sitting on the floor was probably her preference.
By placing her to one side of the frame, isolated in an empty room, it gives the photo a very different context and a sense of story.
