Melbourne, Australia skyline. Why I’m not a purist.

Two photos, today. Again, photos taken with my iPhone 5. This is an example of why I’m not a purist. The top photo is okay, kinda a typical tourist shot, but some cropping in LightRoom made this a more interesting photo. The second photo has a little contrast adjustment and is cropped to 16:9 proportions. The more vertical cropping make the image more interesting and the contrast heightening, though just a little, helped bring out some of the detail, in my opinion. Whatever you think about the contrast adjustment, the cropping definitely improved the image.
