GW2: How to make 1000 gold: Conserve your gold

Want a quick and easy tip for making gold? Here’s an easy one: Start every day with more money than you had the day before.

Like I said, it’s a easy one. Maybe it seems simplistic, but it’s a good rule to follow if you want to build up your gold supply. You can’t make money if you’re going to spend it all, can you?

No one’s saying you have to go on a budget. You don’t need to spreadsheet your costs or anything like that. This is dirt-simple budgeting.

If you know how much money you had the previous day and you have you eye on having more money the next day, you’re far less likely to piss you gold away. It also has the added benefit of making you try to add a little gold to your hoard if you find yourself falling short at the end of the day.

Easy-peasy, isn’t it? It works, too.

How goes my quest for The Legend?

Pretty much the same. I’ve made 4 more attempts in the forge, since I got Deathwish and I’ve gotten only rare staffs in return.

Don’t worry. While I hate throwing gold away – which is pretty much how I view this – it’s a noble and educational experiment.  I’ll keep at it.
