GW2: How to make 1000 gold – Festival recipes

As I mentioned in my last post, I don’t think there’s much to invest in from this event. However, if you’re looking for something, there are two recipes that seem to be a bit rare: the recipes for the Celestial Intricate Gossamer Insignia and the Celestial Orichalcum Imbued Inscription. You can see the current drop rates of items coming out of the Zephyr Sanctum Supply Box here.

One of these recipes is required to make any of the other Celestial recipes. The insignia is required for weapons and the inscription is required for armor. If they’re dropping at a fairly low rate, it looks like these will be worth investing in.

Again, be cautious. Don’t dump a ton of your gold in these. If ArenaNet is intent on teaching us anything, it’s that they’re not shy about re-releasing things and “undermining” your investments. I’m fine with that, by the way. Guild Wars 2 should be about playing the game, not the trading post. I’m just in this for the cool stuff I can get. : )
