GW2: How to make 1000 gold – Bargain hunting
Are you wondering what to do with your Found Belongings?
Found Belongs come out of bags from Scarlett and Scarlett’s minions in Lion’s Arch. You probably have earned hundreds of them if you’ve been doing this event. Here’s what you can trade them in for:
If you’re just starting out, you probably can’t afford the Gift of Blades. Don’t get that unless you have lots of gold. Miyani sells it, too, so it will probably be available even after this event is over.
You might think, since I’ve told you to level up to 80 as fast as you can, that I would recommend you use them to buy Tomes of Knowledge. Nope. They’re too expensive, especially if your gold supply is low. And don’t bother with the Obsidian Shards, either – you can get those with karma, which you get in abundance, anyway.
So that leaves the Pristine Toxic Spore Sample, the Zhaitaffy, the Candy Corn, and the Sprockets.
What? They don’t seem too appealing? Maybe this will help. As of the time of this post, 11:00 PM eastern time on March 14, 2014, Spore Samples were selling for 2 silver 94 copper, 10 pieces of Zhaitaffy were 3 silver 70 copper, 10 pieces of Candy Corn were 4 silver 50 copper, and 10 Watchwork Sprockets were 9 silver 50 copper!
You could trade in your belongings and 1 silver 4 copper for 10 Watchwork Sprockets, post them on the trading post and pocket a nice little profit. What a bargain!
ArenaNet often puts bargains like this into the game, so keep your eyes open for them and make some gold.
