GW2: Going for 1000 gold – Day 38
I’m down a little bit, today. Nothing to worry about – I’ve been spending a bit of gold on recipes particular to this marionette event.
I don’t know if the Keeper and Zealot recipes will show up, again, but I think it’s likely they’ll go up in price after the event is over. I haven’t been dumping tons of money into this, just a bit extra. I basically took my profits from the day – about 10 gold – and bought some recipes off the trading post. (Yes, of course, I made offers and didn’t buy at the asking price.)
I hope you’ve been doing the marionette event. If not have you looked at the price of ascended keeper recipes that drop from this event? Some of them are selling for over 100 gold. Yes, maybe you’ll start doing, now.
I don’t think it’s worth it for me to buy those recipes. As I mentioned, I don’t think it’s a good idea to deplete your funds for an investment. There are two very good reasons for this:
- You never know when the fickle ArenaNet gods might undermine your investment and make something rare available, again.
- You need money to keep making money. Basically, the more money you have on hand, the more flexibility you have, giving you more options to make even more money.
