GW2: Going for 1000 gold – Day 30

Well, it’s day 30, if I’m counting right. I started this quest for 1000 gold on January 4 with 129 gold. At one point, after I came back to Guild Wars 2, my gold total was all the way down to less than 10 gold. Sadly, I don’t have a screenshot of that, so you’ll just have to take my word.

What you do know is that in about 30 days, I’ve grown my total from 129 gold to about 460 gold. There’s more to come. I think there’s a strong possibility I can do this in less than 60 days, but let’s not set that as a goal. The idea isn’t to go as fast as you can – you might make foolish mistakes that way. The idea is to grow your gold pile steadily and finding a rhythm that lets you make money on the trading post while you play your game.

Today’s total isn’t much more than the day before, because I have a lot of gold in mats.
