GW2: Going for 1000 gold – Feeling rich

Okay, I’m feeling a little rich. When I feel rich I spend my gold. Don’t you?

Yesterday, I spent it on giant wintersday gifts. What can I say? I really want the Ho-Ho-Tron mini. Unfortunately, he’s a really, really rare drop. Soooo… While I sold all the stuff I got out of the gifts, I didn’t get anything significant – like the recipes for the ascended back pieces – to offset my costs.

Yes, it had an impact, but as you can see, below, I still made some gold, yesterday, and that’s the thing. You’re not paying the mortgage, here. It’s too easy to get caught up making gold; in my opinion, that’s not what the game is about. Yeah, I’ve said that before and I’ll probably say it, again, but this isn’t your 401K. You don’t win by having the most gold. Play around. Have fun. Don’t spend all your money playing around, of course, but have fun.
