GTA V: Guess you’re not tired of sequels
Game sequels are not at all like movie sequels. Each succeeding movie sequels tend to move closer and closer to the kind of stink associated sewers and stopped up toilets. Game sequels just seem to get better. But game studios make games for the same reason movie studios do. No, not the art. Don’t be silly.

Yes, there are plenty of people working on projects like this who are doing it for the art. But when it comes down to a decision about which game gets made and which one doesn’t the corporate suits are going with the sequels.
