Good riddance: John Riccitiello leaving EA
Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that John Riccitiello is leaving. Effective March 30, he will step down as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors. That’s good news for gamers. Under Mr. Riccitello’s “leadership”, EA has been transformed from a gaming company with a few good sports titles to a gaming company known for ruining the companies it acquires, such as Mythic and BioWare, and never missing a chance to sow ill-will with the gaming community.
Congratulations, John, under your deft guidance, EA has become almost universally despised by gamers.
All together, now. Good riddance.
