Neverwinter: A look at the beta

Neverwinter  (I still want to say Neverwinter Nights.) had a little beta event, this past weeked. I wasn’t invited: Moi doesn’t warrant a press invite. Sigh. Maybe someday.

However, I did watch a few of the gameplay videos from this weekend. When watching the gameplay and character design, my opinion about the game started to change. I’m actually excited about this game, now, and can’t wait to play it. It’s a long video, but it explores a great deal of the game, and developers are right there explaining what’s going on.

Neverwinter will be free-to-download and free-to-play, so it’s not like it’s going to cost you anything to actually play the game. Well, as long as you can exercise some restraint and wait for the game to be released. However, after watching the video below, you might want that guaranteed beta access, which means you might decide to cough up the big bucks for the Founder Pack.
