The Elder Scrolls Online: Gamestop “announces” ESO release date

If you’re only going to GameStop for all your gaming news (Please, don’t do that.), you might think they have an inside track on The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) release date.

They don’t.

Bethesda has made it very clear “The Elder Scrolls Online will be released in 2013.” Not December 31, 2013, as the GameStop ad might lead you to believe, but sometime in 2013. By stating ESO is releasing on December 31, 2013, GameStop seems to just be playing games (Sorry for the pun.) and doing gamers a disservice at the same time.
