Angry Birds <3 Star Wars?

There are some things that just shouldn’t be – You know, like the duck-billed platypus. But no matter how silly or idiotic or brand-diluting an idea might be, that’s not going to stop people from doing it if there’s the slightest chance of a buck being made.

J.J. McCorvey is reporting over at Fast Company that a new toy line featuring the Angry Birds as characters from the Star Wars movies will arrive on Monday. Just about everyone is reporting the same story, but the Fast Company piece appears to the original source. You can only hope it’s a bad joke.
