MMOs I’ve played
I lost track long, long ago of all the video games I’ve played; I can barely keep track of the ones I’ve played this year.
I still have a bit of a grasp on the MMOs I’ve played, though I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few of those, too. I’ve played a whole bunch of them. Since I used to get paid for some of my game reviews, it’s a pretty diverse list.
MMOs I’ve played or I’m currently playing, in no particular order:
Guild Wars
World of Warcraft
Warhammer: Age of Reckoning
Eve Online
Age of Conan
Rappelz
Jade Dynasty
Hero 108: Online
Crimecraft
Hellgate
Mortals
Champions Online
Florensia
Fallen Earth
Rift
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Tera
APB
Hello Kitty Online
Allods
DC Universe Online
Global Agenda
Shaiya
Final Fantasy XIV
Heroes of Might and Magic Online
Dungeons & Dragons Online
Lord of the Rings Online
Star Trek: Online
The Secret World
I’ve also played a ton of multiplayer games that I wouldn’t classify as MMOs, such as Diablo III, but the line between MMOs and multiplayer games is starting to blur. Is Team Fortress an MMO? I don’t think so, but it’s slowly starting to move more in that direction.
Notable games I’ve never played:
Everquest
Final Fantasy XI
Sure there are other games I’ve never played, but I’d consider FFXI and Everquest the two biggies. This week I’ll be posting my first review – De rigueur for gaming blogs, isn’t it? – so if you post a comment disagreeing with my assessment, you can say something like, “You know nothing about MMOs, since you never played Everquest.” 😉
