GW2: How to make 1000 gold – Leveling up.
If you’re just starting out, you want to get to the endgame, and you probably want to get there fast. There are lots of reasons for doing this, almost all of which affect how fast you make gold. Once you’re in the endgame, you’ll make more gold, get better drops worth more money, and you can take part in pretty much every aspect of the game. Also, some crafted recipes require you to be level 80 in order to learn them. Those items are usually worth some extra gold when you sell them.
I recommend three ways to level up, fast:
- Get on the Queensdale boss train.
Start with the k-train that runs through Queensdale. It goes from one champ to the next in Queensdale, and it’s a great way to get loot and XP. - Craft.
Crafting is the best way to make steady gold, in my opinion, and it just so happens to be worth a lot of XP when you’re leveling a craft. What a bonus! So you can level your crafting and level your character at the same time. What’s not to like? - Do your personal story.
Yeah, it’s tiresome and tedious after you choose your order. After that, there are only two plot points once you meet Trahearne: 1) he drones on endlessly and 2) he leads you into one ambush after another. But your personal story gives you huge junks of XP, there’s great loot from all the mobs and easy champs, plus you might get a Black Lion Key.Those Black Lion Keys usually give you junk, but sometimes they give you something sweet, which you can sell, adding instantly to your gold total. Every storyline will give you a BL Key in the beginning, once you complete your story up to level 10. So at least do the first part of your story and get the key.
