GW2: Going for 1000 gold – Lucky is as lucky does

I got the Endless Mystery Quaggan Tonic, yesterday. It dropped from a blue Bag of Alliance Supplies. This is the premier drop item from this event, selling for about 17 gold, right now, though the price is dropping.

Yes, at a certain level I’m lucky, no doubt about it. But I usually get the premier drop item from all the events. While I haven’t been in Lion’s Arch farming this event for 5 hours a day – I don’t have that kind of time – I’ve been doing it a couple of times a day, getting about 70-100 of the bags with every run. So sure, I’m lucky, but I’ve regularly been putting myself in a position to get lucky.

I like this event, too. If you don’t like it, I totally get why you’re not running it. However, you’re not going to get lucky, are you, Mr. Daft Punk?

I’m up, again. I also bought 100 gems, so I made more money than the total reflects. I’m buying gems daily, now, thinking there’s going to be something worth buying during the March sale.
